ROLE:
Leader in the installation, repair, and maintenance of all equipment especially from a mechanical role. Works within a group showing the ability to be lead and develop employees..

Responsibilities:
KEY JOB REQUIREMENTS:
  • Will have the knowledge to diagnose, repair all equipment with no supervision and work on projects.
  • Should be an expert with all in-house equipment and procedures related to the mechanical field and have a fundamental understanding of electrics.
  • Will be expected to direct employees in maintaining necessary records, read data and drive decisions from data.
  • Will be expected to direct employees to identify faulty parts, be knowledgeable of where spare parts are located and provide proper information, in the form of a requisition, to order parts or supplies that are not presently on hand.
  • Primary trainer of maintenance employees to upgrade their knowledge of mechanical repairs.
  • Maintain a clean, safe working environment.
  • Be diversified and willing to assist in a variety of skills as needed.
  • Active participant in developing and modifying preventative maintenance program on all equipment that will maximize equipment reliability and dependability.
  • Develop and maintain a business relationship with vendors and equipment resource personnel.
  • Works within a group showing the ability to be lead and develop employees.
  • To be able to achieve predetermined targets
  • Other duties as necessary
Qualifications:
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:
  • Five to ten years experience in an electro-mechanical capacity and been exposed to lean manufacturing.
  • Associates Degree required with curriculum including courses in pneumatics and hydraulics, fluid power, industrial electricity, industrial motor controls, PLC’s, blueprint reading, machining, and kinematics and mechanics of machines.
  • Proven ability to be able to use and operate precision instruments and machines.
  • Speaking and presentation skills to conduct effective meetings

Must be able to:
  • Work a 8, 10 and/or 12-hour shift, standing and walking for extended periods
  • Climb
  • Heed safety warnings, devices and alarms.
  • Communicate effectively both verbally and in writing
  • Lift and carry products weighing up to 50 lbs.
  • Possess an adequate ability to do problem solving and establish cause and effect relationships in an office and/or manufacturing environment.
