KEY JOB REQUIREMENTS:
- Will have the knowledge to diagnose, repair all equipment with no supervision and work on projects.
- Should be an expert with all in-house equipment and procedures related to the mechanical field and have a fundamental understanding of electrics.
- Will be expected to direct employees in maintaining necessary records, read data and drive decisions from data.
- Will be expected to direct employees to identify faulty parts, be knowledgeable of where spare parts are located and provide proper information, in the form of a requisition, to order parts or supplies that are not presently on hand.
- Primary trainer of maintenance employees to upgrade their knowledge of mechanical repairs.
- Maintain a clean, safe working environment.
- Be diversified and willing to assist in a variety of skills as needed.
- Active participant in developing and modifying preventative maintenance program on all equipment that will maximize equipment reliability and dependability.
- Develop and maintain a business relationship with vendors and equipment resource personnel.
- Works within a group showing the ability to be lead and develop employees.
- To be able to achieve predetermined targets
- Other duties as necessary
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:
- Five to ten years experience in an electro-mechanical capacity and been exposed to lean manufacturing.
- Associates Degree required with curriculum including courses in pneumatics and hydraulics, fluid power, industrial electricity, industrial motor controls, PLC’s, blueprint reading, machining, and kinematics and mechanics of machines.
- Proven ability to be able to use and operate precision instruments and machines.
- Speaking and presentation skills to conduct effective meetings

- Work a 8, 10 and/or 12-hour shift, standing and walking for extended periods
- Climb
- Heed safety warnings, devices and alarms.
- Communicate effectively both verbally and in writing
- Lift and carry products weighing up to 50 lbs.
- Possess an adequate ability to do problem solving and establish cause and effect relationships in an office and/or manufacturing environment.
