What You Will Do:
As a Senior Manager of Hardware Engineering a business unit that is responsible for the design and development of aircraft technologies.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Manage, build and mentor a multidisciplinary engineering team developing hardware that is critical to the success of the business
- Create, measure, communicate and drive group performance
- Ensure that customer requirements, milestones and regulatory requirements are met
- Foster an environment of technology reuse and improvement
- Accountable for the financial well-being of development programs and sustaining costs
- Increase productivity by reducing engineering cost
- Collaborate with other business units in product development, productivity goals and production support
- Collaborate with teams to align resources, priorities and drive work in the business unit
- Lead the team by flowing down the business unit strategy and driving the technology and product roadmaps
Qualifications:
- Ideal candidate is someone who has strong analytical skills and ability to synthesize data and drive outcomes.
- Experience in leading and driving design development teams from schematic capture, PCB layout through assembly
- Experience in new technology design from concept through test and validation
- Communication and collaboration skills
- What You Must Have:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Electrical Engineering
- 5+ years of experience as a Electrical Engineer
- Management or demonstrated leadership required
- Must be a US Person
