Senior Director of Primary Care opportunity in beautiful Hamilton, Montana!!

Bitterroot Health is seeking candidates to fill a Senior Director of Primary Care and Population Health. The Senior Director of Primary Care and Population Health provides leadership for the hospital employed primary care physicians and supervises the day-to-day operations of these physician practices. The senior director’s responsibilities include developing strategy and oversight of primary care and population health. These services facilitate team-based care to provide wellness and ambulatory health services to individuals, through effective partnerships with patients, their caregivers/families, community resources, and their physician. These activities support alternative payment development and hospital strategy of ACO required activities including wellness and care management.

Minimum Qualifications (Education, Licensure, Experience)
  • Education:
  • Required: Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Nursing, or other healthcare field
  • Preferred: Masters’ Degree in business, health administration, nursing, or public health
  • Licensure’s, Certifications, Registrations: None required
  • Experience: 2 years of experience as a clinic manager/administrator in a healthcare or medical setting
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Attention to detail
  • Strong organizational/time management skills
  • Flexibility to adapt to a variety of work assignments
  • Knowledge of federal and state regulations that impact clinic operations including Medicare, Medicaid, RHC, and HIPAA
  • Ability to accurately and efficiently use Health Information Technology Systems, including running reports
  • Ability to analyze and discern data
  • Ability to work with healthcare providers and teams in a collaborative manner
  • Project Management skills
  • Advanced knowledge of computer skills in Microsoft Word, Power Point, Excel, Microsoft Teams, and Visio or equivalent software
  • Advanced Knowledge of ACOs and population health management
