Description:

Betches Media is looking for a humorous, creative and diverse social media expert to run day-to-day operations of our relationship vertical. This person will manage daily content strategy on our U Up? account, as well as manage the team who runs Betches Brides and Betches moms accounts, inclusive of Instagram Story design, feed posts, Reels, TikTok curation, Twitter and podcast production as well as promotion. The ideal candidate will be an avid follower of Betches, with a particular interest in dating and relationship content—with a deep understanding of how people consume and engage with social content. They will also be able to grow, engage, and connect with the Betches audience at large by analyzing social media trends, data, and the overall social landscape to make strategic decisions.

They must possess excellent writing and editing skills, strong organizational and communication skills, an eye for detail and a passion for social media. This person will manage 2-3 team members, report to the Director of Digital Content & Brand Strategy and work alongside various members from editorial, marketing & podcast teams.

Role & Responsibilities:

• Oversee content strategy for the entire relationships vertical, including management of daily content strategy for the U Up? account (including Instagram and emerging platforms), as well as oversight of Betches Moms and Betches Brides accounts
• Manage podcast production for U Up? podcast, including identifying potential topics, segments, and guests, as well as coordinating scheduling with hosts, etc.
• Use social media tools (Instagram, TikTok, Twitter) to create original content as well as source curated content
• Collaborate with content and data-analytics teams to maximize content reach and engagement, and ensure the brand is meeting audience growth goals
• Oversee community management and engagement on all social platforms for relationship-specific accounts
• Pitch and produce social-first series that will elevate and expand the Betches brand
• Pay attention to emerging trends on Instagram TikTok, and beyond and apply where there are growth opportunities
• Ideate and support marketing team efforts to grow content vertical across all platforms and audiences (Instagram, Podcast,TikTok, email etc)

Qualifications:

• 4+ years of social media design, storytelling & strategy experience
• Experience using Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, Canva or After Effects
• A demonstrated ability to write engaging social-media copy within Betches brand voice
• Knowledge of and passion for lifestyle & relationships topics, and experience with social-media platforms, both established and emerging
• The agility and flexibility to work in a small, fast-moving team and a growing business
• Familiarity and strong enthusiasm for entire Betches Media brand
• Creative ability to stay on top of design trends within social media
• Willingness to thrive in a startup environment, highly motivated and possesses an entrepreneurial spirit
• A quick, creative thinking & ideation mind set
• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university (preferred)

Compensation:

The expected annual base salary for this role is $80,000 – $90,000. Final offers for this role will be made within the parameters of the salary range provided. Years of experience, skills, and other factors such as location are considered when determining the salary offered. Total compensation & offer package will include the following perks below.
