The Senior Cloud Engineer will design, implement, and maintain resources within Cano Health’s Azure Cloud Environment, including computational workflows, cloud-based web application/solution deployments, network architecture, and data versioning and lifecycle management. Responsibilities:

The Senior Cloud Engineer will design, implement, and maintain resources within Cano Health’s Azure Cloud Environment, including computational workflows, cloud-based web application/solution deployments, network architecture, and data versioning and lifecycle management.
- Research and analyze cloud technology trends for potential impact to the enterprise technology strategy and recommend appropriate changes and areas of future enhancement.
Leverage scripting to build required automation and tools.
Interface between application development, support, and infrastructure support teams
Create knowledge sharing presentations and documentation to help developers and operations teams understand and leverage the systems capabilities.
Lead in the design, development, debugging, and maintenance of software components using a combination of technologies.
Experience with Evaluating, Designing, Developing and Building PoC and Architect Infrastructure solutions.
Deep understanding of networking technologies and troubleshooting
Deep understanding of storage technologies and applications
Maintain a 24x7, global, highly available SaaS environment.
In conjunction with other IS function groups and other business units, determine cloud infrastructure requirements and specifications.
Develop repeatable processes and/or scripts to allow the timely and efficient deployment of those Cloud services used by the firm.
Effectively manage and mentor direct report
- Experience: 5-10 years of demonstrated IT experience supporting and troubleshooting enterprise level, mission-critical applications resolving highly complex issues/situations and driving technical resolution across cross-functional organizations.
- Hands on experience in data migration, data store creation, security, Replication, Backup, and Azure Data Life Cycle end to end.
- Docker container ecosystem, Kubernetes, Databricks
- Needs to know Azure SQL and Azure SQL Data warehouse.
- Needs to know Azure Data Factory, Azure Data Lake any other toolsets in data import and export from an AzureSQL DW cluster/Azure SQL DB
- Understands Performance aspects of Azure storage platforms.
- Experience with setting up and configuring SSO technologies such as OpenID, OAuth2, SAML etc.
