About this role:

Wells Fargo is seeking a Senior Lead Business Execution Consultant to lead and manage the transformational journey aligned to the target operating model (TOM) for the Deposit Credit Bureau Management Office (DCBMO). The Deposit Credit Bureau Management Office manages consumer credit and deposit bureau-related functions and reporting activities across consumer lending and plays a critical role in improving customer experiences and managing risk; also has oversight of the Fair Credit Reporting Act (FCRA) data usage across the company.

The DCBMO is on a journey to implement a target operating model which incorporates business process and technology changes to reduce risk, standardize how work is completed, improve the customer experience, and drive operational efficiency. This position will play a critical role in working with functional leaders to update the existing target operating model, lead the prioritization and sequencing of implementation efforts across the DCBMO functions, partner with Product Delivery stakeholders to align the project and implementation plans with the key priorities while working with technology and second line partner groups to drive the target capability adoption. In addition, this individual will also maintain and refine a capability maturity model to provide ongoing leadership view of progress towards target state.

In this role, you will:
  • Serve as a strategic thinker and leader to drive the implementation of the target operating model for the DCBMO transformation and align delivery with product management principles.
  • Partner with DCBMO leaders and stakeholders across the enterprise to understand the current operating model, identify opportunities to streamline and improve both for short-term and long-term opportunities. Recommend approaches and priorities for driving transformation.
  • Develop, review, and report on the transformation strategy, ensuring the strategic objectives are well understood by the leaders of the organization.
  • Perform data driven analysis to identify opportunities and solution with DCBMO leaders to identify challenges and dependencies while working closely with the Product Manager to coordinate sequencing of implementation plan activities.
  • Enhance and maintain a capability maturity framework for assessing status and progress of capability build out and ongoing enhancements.
  • Conduct strategic assessment and coordinate execution planning for onboarding additional functions and capabilities into the DCBMO operating model.
  • Maintain evergreen view of DCBMO target operating model adjusting for changes in organization, enterprise and regulatory drivers.
  • Develop and coordinate executive level updates to DCBMO leadership, committees and stakeholders on roadmap, TOM, delivery milestones, capability maturity progress and other strategic planning items.
  • Perform root cause analysis, drive process re-engineering and support end-to-end process mapping efforts to reduce risk and achieve operational efficiencies in transformation initiatives.
  • Work within the Risk Management Framework and with Business Controls and related partners to ensure transformational activities align with previous regulatory commitments. Drive communication and vetting process where transformation may result in change or impact to those commitments.
  • Partner with various Product Management and Consumer Lending stakeholders to ensure the funding support of technology and program resources necessary to deliver the target operating model and supporting target technology solutions.
  • Create and maintain cross-departmental relationships to leverage established tools and processes where appropriate for efficiency purposes.

Required Qualifications, US:
  • 7+ years of Business Execution, Implementation, or Strategic Planning experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
Desired Qualifications:
  • Experience in re-engineering processes, end-to-end process mapping and diagnosing business imperatives to transform operating model
  • Experience in corporate strategy, and/or management consulting at established firms in related practice areas
  • Experience driving business operating model change, organizational design and technology innovation
  • Proven change leader with the ability to drive multiple work streams at once as an influencer to drive for efficiency and risk reduction
  • Self-directed, results driven, and comfortable with ambiguity, i.e., comfortable taking a vague initiative and creating a definitive plan
  • Experience with Product Management and Agile principles and tools (including Jira, Jira Align, Confluence, etc.)
  • Advanced PowerPoint experience
  • Experience analyzing data and creating reports and presentations for varying levels in the organization
  • Proven ability to influence at varying levels of the organization within a complex, matrixed environment
  • Strong understanding of capability maturity framework
  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication
  • Demonstrated ability to synthesize information, prioritize business goals and drive results with a high sense of urgency
  • Business and technical project and/or program management experience
  • Outstanding problem solving and analytical skills with ability to turn findings into strategic imperatives
  • Financial services experience
  • Understanding of consumer financial products
  • Experience with consumer credit bureau reporting, dispute processing and associated laws (FCRA, FACTA)
  • Strong relationship management and proven leadership skills, with solid conflict management, negotiation and organizational effectiveness techniques with senior business leaders to foster and manage ongoing relationships and gain commitment to accomplish business goals
  • Bachelor's Degree in finance, technology, or business with emphasis on project management, process engineering or similar disciplines.
