This is a high-impact, visible client service role. You will not be in the shadows. Roles and Responsibilities

This role will change and evolve over time, as we all grow.

  • Process and Procedure Creation and Management.
  • Works with executives and operations team internally and externally using checklists and standardized workflows.
  • Assists the operations team with technological decisions.
  • Has the ability and desire to train, teach, and support.
  • Assist the operations team with new client onboarding.
  • Maintenance of the production calendar to ensure that the operations team is not overwhelmed with client work.
  • Potential liaison between the client and the operations team to ensure that all communication is punctual and tactful.
  • Works with leaders on small or large tasks that improve the quality of the client experience.
  • Help track client contact information.
  • Track and nudge progress forward on open initiatives without nagging and cajoling.
  • Have a mindset of making decisions and resolving issues.

Qualifications

Multiple years’ experience with most of the following:

  • General back-office skills including A/R, A/P, reconciliations, and reporting.
  • Knowledge of different Entity Designation differences & processes.
  • Must have worked with an accounting system in the past.
  • Ability to navigate and interpret the Balance Sheet and P/L to both staff and clients.
  • Ability to read and explain a financial statement in layman terms.
  • Familiarity with applications that integrate to most accounting systems (e.g., time sheets, expense management, reporting, etc.).
  • Understands the components of Financial Statements and how they relate to each other.
  • Proficiency in QuickBooks Desktop & QBO, Google Workspace, Time Management Softwares, and other cloud-based technology.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Highly motivated and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Able to manage multiple priorities.
  • Organizational and time management skills.
  • Goal driven team player.
  • Ability to manage dynamic priorities and complete tasks efficiently.
  • Able to work with people of different personalities and temperaments, maintaining focus on customer satisfaction, company goals and moving towards successful completion.
  • Ability to stay calm when others around you are not.
  • Be honest about what you know and do ‘not’ know.
  • Accounting software certifications.
  • 3-5 years accounting experience.
  • Management experience - Helpful.
  • Knowledge of the requirements for different industries.
  • Generalist with multiple vertical industries.

Work Schedule

The position can be part time or full-time as the company grows and your responsibilities expand. Any hours can be worked during our standard business hours of 8 AM to 6 PM Pacific Standard Time. You are not required to be in our time zone, but you will be required to work regular business hours.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $25.00 - $35.00 per hour
