The firm do a great job of retaining their staff. I asked them how they’ve managed this. Quite simply, they realise that if you’re working regular long hours / weeks that you’ll get burnt out and fall out of love with Public Accounting. That’s why they keep the hours sensible, even at busy season, where you’ll work no more than 50 hours p/w. And from May through to September, you’ll be working a 4-day week (without taking a pay cut).

The fact they don’t have a big turnover of staff is great, but don’t worry, it’s not going to limit your progression opportunities. The firm is growing. Currently they’re turning away new business, which is why they want to hire someone like you. Most of the current Partners and Managers in the firm have progressed through the ranks. They’ll support you to do the same.

Based in Tewksbury, MA, they’re the perfect size (less than 50 people) for someone who wants to have progression opportunities, a broad client base (wholesale, retail, IT, hi-tech, manufacturing) and you’ll not feel like they’re a small cog in a huge operation.

We’re helping them hire a Senior Audit Associate. The position would suit someone who has 3 years’ public accounting experience. CPA or CPA track is preferred, but not essential.
