Job Description


The Senior Analyst, Paid Social, is responsible for daily assigned account performance by developing social campaigns across several channels. The Senior Analyst is required to apply their social understanding accordingly to help deliver against the client’s needs and objectives. In addition, they will work closely with their manager to successfully lead client-paid social media campaigns by providing thoughtful leadership on strategies and optimizations.

Role Objectives:

  • Use analytical and problem-solving capabilities to ensure flawless campaign execution to meet and exceed stated client objectives
  • Direct bid strategy, campaign optimizations, and reporting for paid social media campaigns
  • Oversee budgets and flighting for all self-service platforms
  • Manage rate tracking, benchmarking, planning costs, and overall budget for client accounts
  • Forecast around audits and campaign analytics
  • Assist the Manager and greater team with overall strategy and recommendations
  • Help manage partners' communication and vet optimization recommendations based on campaign objectives.
  • Pull data or QA data provided by the analytics team and draft insights based on data findings.
  • Manage weekly pacing documents and communicate appropriately across internal team members.
  • Lead trafficking kick-off timelines with creative teams, internal teams, and client
  • The primary party responsible for trafficking on planned channels
  • Work closely with creative partners on asset delivery and ensure it meets channel specs.
  • Demonstrate creativity and agility when problem-solving
  • Timely delivery of all work
  • Successful completion of training programs and requisite certifications
  • Active participation in internal status and reporting calls, including presentation of reporting
  • Serve as subject matter experts and be a resource for training and ad hoc questions.
  • Development and implementation of optimizations and/or testing plans (e.g. audience suppression, bidding caps, frequency caps, testing implementation)
  • Mastery of all core social metric calculations and relationships (e.g. CPC, CPA, CTR, Reach %, weighted averages)
  • Proactively identify areas of improvement in team processes and agendas.
  • Be on top of social media trends and news to help further improve campaigns or testing possibilities

Qualifications
  • A minimum of +1 years in paid social media experience
  • Demonstrated experience buying and planning across multiple platforms including Meta, Snapchat, Pinterest – Optional: Twitter and Tiktok
  • Experience working in a client-facing capacity
  • Experience using paid media to complement earned media campaigns and meet business objectives
  • Proficiency in MS Office with specific strengths in Excel and PowerPoint
  • Able to work independently and balance multiple tasks
  • Genuine interest in the digital media space and enjoys staying up-to-date on industry trends
  • Ability to prioritize and organize projects
  • Ability to accurately apply principles of media math
  • Excellent written and verbal communications skills
  • Collaborative approach/attitude
