Overview:
VTG is seeking a Senior Analyst Logistician Specialist to provide Logistics Support Services to the Program Management Aviation Mission Systems and Architecture (PM AMSA) office at Redstone Arsenal, AL.
Responsibilities:
  • Assist in performing logistics analyses, support strategic planning, maintain/update information management systems, and provide other logistics, acquisition, and materiel-fielding support related to PM-AMSA products.
  • Assist in performing technical analyses and provide multi-functional logistics support related to PM-AMSA products.
  • Support life cycle management actions, provide technical expertise to conferences/briefings to include on-site creation and delivery of high-quality graphics, briefing material, and tracking of action items.
  • Provide analytic/logistic expertise to support planning and management of costs and performance across the product support value chain, from design through disposal to include development and implementation of product support strategies to ensure supportability is considered throughout the system life cycle.
  • Assist in providing provide integrated logistics support input, advice, and recommendations for the International, Co-Production, and Foreign Military Sales (FMS) programs.
  • Assist in providing maintenance-engineering services in support of materiel changes and modification on fielded systems.
  • Assist in verifying MWO manuscripts, technical procedures, modification kits, and other associated/related items.
  • Provide support to special Logistics Data Management projects.
  • Assist in providing analytic/logistic expertise to support in-service systems in their operational environments.
  • Facilitate coordination with other Major Subordinate Commands (MSCs) and supporting activities on maintenance planning matters.
  • Assist in providing input and recommendations for the preparation of initial or amended Basis of Issue Plan Feeder Data (BOIPFD).
  • Assist in the cataloging and acquiring all classes of supply (10 classes of supply within the Defense Department), spare/repair parts, and support equipment.
  • Assist in reviewing of all technical publications ensuring that all publications reviewed are consistent with approved data and meet Government technical publications formatting standards.
  • Perform services at its own facility (off-site) or at a duty station at any U.S. Government facility or other designated facilities (on-site) within the Continental US (CONUS) or outside the Continental US (OCONUS).
Qualifications:
Required Skills:
  • Must have some knowledge, experience and demonstrated ability to perform logistics tasks.
  • Works independently and apply the proper procedures and processes provided.
  • Ability to problem solve and troubleshoot various situations to develop successful outcomes within established program/project guidelines.
  • Minimum Education and Experience is a BA/BS degree and eight years of experience in Logistics analyses or,
  • High School and 11 years of directly related experience in Logistics analyses.
Travel:
  • Minimum travel up to 15%
Clearance:
Active DoD Secret Security Clearance.
