Participates in the evaluation, planning, and implementation and training of Library & Technology Services Enterprise Systems. Work with the College and Stems to understand their data needs and then train staff on how to create reports and dashboard to support their areas work. Investigates and resolves software and/or server problems of stakeholders. Analyzes and develops methods to apply emerging technologies, cybersecurity and automation to support service goals. - Developing training materials and documentation on Library and Technology Services Enterprise Systems (Oracle, Argos, Access, Salesforce, SQL)
- Offer Workshops in various formats (face-to-face and on-demand) on institutional data from ERP Ellucian Banner, combined with data from several data warehouses
- Issue micro credentials for success completion of training programs
- Utilize diverse programming techniques such as HTML, PHP, XML, CSS, Perl, SQL, PL/SQL, Python, Java, JavaScript, JQM, jQuery, Groovy and Grails to support the Banner ERP application and for any associated ancillary applications including Salesforce
- Maintain technical expertise for all programming techniques required to support Enterprise applications
- Maintain comprehensive knowledge of relational database management systems and operating systems (UNIX, Linux, Windows)
- Provide system and functional-specific knowledge transfer to Departmental staff and others
- Use knowledge of cloud-based vendor applications to provide data integration between applications
- Perform information gathering and systems analysis via interactions with vendors and internal clients to ascertain system functionality and end user requirements
- Provide recommendations to internal clients related to proposed existing system enhancements and for vendor specific solutions
- Document programming/projects (JIRA) for internally developed applications and for modifications made to vendor supplied software
- Analyze and evaluate the functionality and feasibility of ancillary applications
- Customize, install and integrate ancillary applications with the Banner ERP
- Ensure that ancillary applications maintain currency
- Research industry trends, ascertains best practices and maintains current knowledge of available technologies
- Identify potential training opportunities related to skill sets required to be successful in this position
- Attend online, on campus or when possible offsite training events
- Collaborate with other Library and Technology Services members to problem solve, identify opportunities for improvement and share knowledge and information
- Serve on Library and Technology Services and University committees
- Participate in Library and Technology Services, University events and activities that benefit the team and/or the organization's knowledge, skills and morale
- Write and present papers, presentations and workshops/seminars at professional conferences and to the University community
- Produce supporting materials for events such as written documentation, online tutorial videos and podcasts
- Participate in professional activities that contribute to the individual and team's knowledge and skills

Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering or related degree; Master's degree preferred
Three to five years related work experience
Strong verbal, written and visual communication skills.
Positive attitude, detail and customer oriented with solid multitasking and organizational ability
Strong analytical and problem solving abilities
Programming experience with HTML, PHP, XML, CSS, Perl, SQL, PL/SQL, Python, Java, JavaScript, JQM, jQuery, Groovy and Grails
Familiarity with UNIX, Linux and Windows operating systems
Successful completion of standard background checks including but not limited to: social security verification, education verification, national criminal background checks, motor vehicle checks, PATCH, FBI fingerprinting, Child Abuse Clearance and credit history based upon the requirements of the position
