PAY RATE: $13.02 - $15.63 (Depends on Qualifications)
SCHEDULE: 40 Hours per month (To Be Discussed at Interview)

JOB SUMMARY
Performs a variety of general duties as needed to operate and schedule the Senior Center.
- Prepares facility for daily lunches and other events; receives and prepares food for serving daily lunches.
- Talks with and greets Senior Citizen patrons at meals and activities.
- Receives orders and deliveries; assists in organizing and storing materials and supplies.
- Helps with counting of daily collections.
- Receives telephone calls and walk-in public; responds to questions regarding various programs and services; direct callers to appropriate personnel as needed.
RESPONSIBLITIES AND QUALIFICATIONS
Graduation from high school or equivalent AND sufficient experience to demonstrate an aptitude or ability to perform above and related duties OR an equivalent combination of education and experience.- Have a current Food Handler's permit.
- Are First Aid and CPR Certified.
- Have some knowledge of food preparation and serving.
- Experience with cash handling.
- Have interpersonal communication skills.
- Have knowledge of and follow safety, sanitation, and gerontology standards.
- May be required to lift up to approximately 25 pounds.
