SENIOR ACCOUNTANT - Non-Profit
Now recruiting on behalf of Atlanta based non-profit organization for a Senior Accountant. This organization is stable, has been in place for over 100 years, and offers the opportunity to be part of a great mission, an extremely strong match on the 403b program, free medical benefits for employees, and Friday afternoons off in the summer time.
The Senior Accountant will be responsible for: month end close, grant/fund accounting, financial reporting, AP and Payroll support, audit support, and budget support. The right candidate for this opportunity will have:
- Bachelor's in Accounting
- 4+ years of relevant experience
- Experience with grant / fund accounting
- Strong Excel proficiency
- CPA or CPA track preferred
- Strong understanding of GAAP reporting
- History of job stability required for consideration
