Who You Are…

As Sr. Account Manager, you will be tasked with managing one to two building owner accounts while creating a detailed account plan and focusing on expanding the relationships. This person is responsible for larger accounts, both in volume and size.

This Position…

Some examples of the work you might do includes:

  • Responsible for an overall gross profit goal of the building owner account(s), this goal encompasses all work performed on the campus. They are also responsible for driving their own sales with that particular owner.
  • Generates proposals for that are reasonably redeemable by operations staff.Constructs thorough proposals that effectively communicate objectives, scope, schedule, price, alternates, basis of proposal, design criteria, and general conditions.
  • Negotiates, secures, and executes acceptable contract terms with legal department support.
  • Pursues customers and opportunities that align with the marketing strategy on the branch's Business Plan and are within the branch's niche.
  • Manages the customer experience from maintenance through larger projects that occur on the campus of their account.
  • Cultivates customer relationships to expand the performance of the account(s)
  • Attains account revenue and gross profit goal.
  • Ensures seamless communication and single point with building owner.
  • Develops and executes account strategy.
  • Develops and maintains strong relationships with all stakeholders (facility managers/directors up through the C level).
  • Constantly in touch with customer needs that they are responsible for bringing new product & service ideas to better serve their accounts.
  • All other duties as assigned.

What You Need…

  • 7+ years of industry-specific experience.
  • Experience in successful managing 1-2 accounts with a proven track record
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to engage in effective collaboration and communication (both written and verbal).
  • Effective organizational, presentation, negotiation, and follow-up skills.
  • Advanced knowledge of the construction and facility services industry and marketplace.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor s degree in a relevant field or equivalent preferred.

Work Environment:

  • This position operates primarily in a professional office environment, and routinely utilizes standard office equipment, such as computers, phones, copiers, and filing cabinets.
  • Work duties may regularly necessitate walk-throughs of local job sites, during which the incumbent may utilize basic tools (measuring tape, screwdriver, wrench, etc.), and be intermittently exposed to the conditions typically associated with a construction site.

Physical Demands:

  • In performing the duties of this job, the incumbent is regularly required to sit, stand, talk, walk, hear, and possess an appropriate degree of both visual acuity and manual dexterity.
  • You may occasionally be required to climb, stoop, crouch, crawl, reach, and/or perform repetitive motion.
  • This is considered a light work position, which means possible exertion of up to twenty (20) pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to ten (10) pounds of force frequently, and/or a negligible amount of force constantly to lift, carry, push, pull, or otherwise move objects.
