What you’ll be doing

• Able to develop ABAP solutions as per the design document requirements (workflow and forms, enhancements, reports, and interfaces)
• Knowledge and understanding of SAP Fiori and S/4 HANA
• Participate in complex code reviews and provide feedback
• ABAP Webdynpro Model generation (RFC, Web Services), Internal/External Context Mapping, Eventing, Navigation, Adaptive RFC, Custom Comps, Interfaces, Usage, Net Weaver Development Interface (NWDI Tracks, SCs, DCs) and optionally Floor Plan Manager (FPM)
• Involvement in project work for various SAP modules
• Cooperation with portal development team
• ABAP support for other environments including ECC6 and S4/HANA
• Interacting with the Architects, Analysts and other IT delivery teams to understand the functional requirements
• Developing and implementing changes/enhancements using ABAP technology for BAU and small change aligned to SAP standard
• Providing technical input to projects delivering SAP changes to support initial project planning and estimation process
• Comfortable with OSS navigation and OSS note interpretation
• Knowledge of procedure and tools for communication with SAP via OSS
• Capacity to act as strong team player
• A software developer designs, develops, and tests complex programs for SAP modules and functions using ABAP
• May be expected to create specialized reports for SAP modules using ABAP programming languages, designs forms and screens for SAP modules using tools such as SAPscript and SmartForms, and understanding of multi-system interfaces
• Able to prepare comprehensive and thorough technical program documentation including but not limited to specifications, test conditions, test plans, and test data

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide weekly status reporting of the project status
• Interact and coordinate with the client to ensure ticket resolution is meeting expectations
• Serve as developer for all SAP Business Objects development of Dashboard, Web Intelligence, Explorer, BOE Installations/Configurations, Information Design Tool, Data Services etc.

What You Bring To The Team

• Bachelor's Degree
• 3-5 years of experience
• Good client interaction skills
• Communication skills: strong presentation/ communication / facilitation skills (oral and written)
• Works well with teams or in a team environment, with the ability to work independently
• General consulting skills

As required by the equal pay and transparency acts, the expected base salary for this position is:
$82k-$117k + Bonus+ Benefits

The expected pay is determined based on a variety of factors including, but not limited to, depth of experience in the practice area. Employees are eligible to participate in Hitachi Vantara’s bonus/variable/commission pay programs, where applicable, and are subject to the program’s conditions and restrictions.
