Join our security team and make a difference at a great community based hospital, Montefiore Mount New Rochelle. The hospital is part of the Montefiore Health System, a premier academic health system serving more than 3 million people living in the New York City region and Hudson Valley. We have a fantastic opportunity for a Full-Time Security Supervisor to work the evening shift (4pm-12pm).

Job Summary

In this role you will be responsible for supervision of security officers and insuring a safe and calm environment for hospital patients, visitors, and employees, protecting the medical center against danger and theft.

Responsibilities Include:

• Supervise Security Officers.
• Investigation of security incidents that require immediate attention and decision.
• Patrol and assist security officers in certain situations.
• Orientation and training of new Security officers.

Required Background and Experience:

• High School Diploma/GED required.
• Minimum of 3 years experience required.
• Knowledge of CCTV cameras and electronic security systems
• Security License required.
• NYS Driver's License preferred.
• Law Enforcement experience preferred.
• CPI Certification required.
• CPR and Basic First Aid Certification required.
