Job Summary
POSITION SUMMARY
The Security Officer reports to the Security Shift Lead and is responsible for security checks, and loss prevention efforts at the production facility. They are to be a visual deterrent for all criminal and negligent activity at the site. They are a support for all Purple staff and visitors.
For this position, you will need to be able to pass an extensive background check

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Regular rounds and door checks of the building
- Help with badging and access control efforts
- Reporting any necessary activity on the site to the appropriate level
- Completing reports
- Monitoring of on-site video surveillance system
- Security positions involve regular and irregular shift work and shift rotations necessary to provide security services 24 hours a day, 7 days a week (weekends and holidays included)
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES REQUIREMENTS
- Prior Security and customer service experience highly preferred
- Strong computer skills: word, excel, and PowerPoint
- Strong attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills
- Prior experience working with surveillance systems is preferred.
- Ability to solve problems as they arise
