We’re seeking an engaging, detail-oriented individual for this exciting part-time role. The Studio Coordinator plays a key part in ensuring school operations are smooth and students and parents are satisfied with their School of Rock experience. The role is part sales and marketing, part administration and part operations. Music appreciation is highly desired, but musical talent is not required.


Job Responsibilities

  • Customer Service Field incoming calls and greet enrolled students and walk-ins. Ensure daily student and instructor schedules are accurate and lessons run smoothly. Notify students, parents and instructors of any changes. Accurately reflect absences, cancellations and make-up lessons in the school scheduling system.
  • Sales and MarketingWork with the School Manager to follow up leads via phone and email. Document changes in the school lead management system. Provide tours of the school to customers seeking information. For students signing up, process the sale in the school billing system, set up lesson scheduling and walk customers through school policies. Provide support for school marketing efforts. Staff school booth at local community events.
  • Shows and Events – For season shows and other performances, collect tickets. Process ticket and merchandise sales. Support School Manager and Music Director as needed for at-show administrative tasks.
  • Administration – Ensure office supplies, sales merchandise, and kitchen and bathroom supplies are stocked and that customer areas remain clean and clutter free.
  • Training and Staff Meetings – Attend all required training and staff meetings

Job Requirements

  • High school or equivalent degree required
  • One to two years of college coursework or post high school education desired
  • 1-3 years of sales, customer service, billing or scheduling experience
  • Working knowledge of computers and data entry
  • Microsoft Office and/or Google Docs skills
  • Good writing skills
  • Personable and pleasant demeanor
  • Passion for kids, education, and music!

Compensation and Benefits

  • Up to $14 per hour, depending on experience

Work Hours

  • Part time: 12-25 hours per week
  • Hours flexible between 1 pm and 9 pm, Sunday through Thursday
  • Occasional Friday or Saturday work for shows or other events.
