We have an opening for a Staffing Coordinator who can answer yes to these questions. We are seeking a Staffing Coordinator to join our independently owned and operated national agency.

STAFFING Coordinator Primary Responsibilities:

  • Schedule caregivers with clients and communicate to all parties
  • Confirm and update caregiver availability including vacation, sick time, and holidays
  • Document skills and attributes of caregivers to ensure strong matching to clients
  • Follow up with new caregiver hires to explain the scheduling process
  • Establish a great rapport with caregivers and clients
  • Brief caregivers on new client assignments and communicate client needs and plan of care
  • Input client profiles into scheduling system and keep care pans up to date
  • Maintain knowledge of company policy and verbally coach/counsel caregivers as needed
  • Handle back up intake calls as needed
  • Occasional fill in for after-hours telephone coverage
  • Follow all staffing policies and procedures as outlined in the manual
  • Investigate clock in and out punches that don't match the schedule
  • Contact state case managers for new and existing clients and to gather authorizations

Scheduling Coordinator Requirements:

  • Experience – One year experience in a home care setting preferred
  • Education – Associates Degree preferred
  • Skills – Exceptional customer service skills, time management skills, excellent communication skills
  • Characteristics – This is an autonomous position, so we’re looking for individuals that are self-motivated and willing to learn.
