Fincantieri Marinette Marine, a Fincantieri Marine Group Company, is a progressive shipyard specializing in building ships for the United States Navy. We currently have an opportunity for a Scheduler I at our Marinette, Wisconsin location.

POSITION SUMMARY

This position is responsible for overseeing the development, updating, and maintenance of the tools required to develop AOP (Advanced Operational Plan) processes and KPI booklets, and the integration of supporting documents. It will be required that the supporting documents will be released on time according to the business rhythm and the relevant meetings. This position creates action items from AOP meetings and follows up on status of specified items.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

  • Assure development and maintenance of AOP tools
  • Assist with KPIS for each project.
  • Develop and maintain KPIs for each project.
  • Assist and help in the conduction of AOP meetings.
  • Occasionally attend bimonthly meetings and take meeting minutes.
  • Update all documents at the conclusion of each meeting.
  • Provide assistance to Scheduler II's and Master Scheduler's.
  • Interface with others at MMC and customers
  • Must abide by and enforce all organizational policies and procedures.
  • Drive others to provide necessary information
  • Conduct major assessments

QUALIFICATIONS

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

  • High School Diploma or equivalent and at least 3 years of related experience.
  • This requirement can also be met with an Associate's degree and at least 2 years of related experience.
  • Substantial experience in a complex multi-product, build-to-order production environment creating project and master schedules and resource plans preferred.
  • Substantial working knowledge of ERP systems and network scheduling software.
  • Must have strong Microsoft Office Suites computer skills, especially in Excel.
