Summary:

The Sanitation Coordinator provides support to the Sanitation Supervisor, leadership to the Sanitation Leads and Crew in all areas of Sanitation.

He/she ensures compliance to Fresh Express Food Safety and Sanitation standards.

Job Function Statements – Essential Functions:

· Report to work on time and work a minimum of 8 hours daily.

· Coordinates and monitor activities of contracted sanitation personnel to ensure compliance to Fresh Express Sanitation standards.

· Performs comprehensive end of production (EOP) activities and (PCA) post cleaning activities

· Performs comprehensive Monthly audits evaluation of sanitation process and practices.

· Reviews Fresh Express and Contractor Sanitation post cleaning logs weekly.

· Reviews Contractor custodians cleaning logs weekly.

· Reviews Fresh express and contractor Master Sanitation and Titrations logs weekly.

· Performs comprehensive sanitation chemicals inventory weekly – when needed.

· Assist in Sanitation/QA assessments and audits – when needed.

· Facilitates the team monthly trainings and process improvement – Alchemy trainings.

· Provides Sanitation Supervisor with equipment damage report daily (if any).

· Assists/coordinates in the training of proper/safe handling and usage of sanitation

· chemicals.

- Assists in Food Safety/HACCP and GMP audits.

· - Performs other assignments as required and directed, ex. Boom/Scissor Lift and Forklift Certification.

Required Qualifications/Skills:

The ideal candidate must:

· Possess strong written and oral communication skills.

· Possess strong interpersonal skills and succeed in a team environment.

· Possess problem solving abilities.

· Possess basic mechanical skills.

· Possess basic mathematical skills.

· Detail oriented.

· - Be proficient in Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.

Other Desired Qualifications/Skills:

· Bilingual English/Spanish.

· Experience with FSSC 22000 or equivalent system.

· Previous experience in food manufacturing sanitation.

Experience:

· - Minimum of three years’ experience in a Food Sanitation function.

Education/Training:

· - GED or technical discipline.
