Sales Engineer
Alencon Systems is an innovative manufacturer of power conversion equipment for alternative energy applications. Our products are used in commercial and utility scale sized applications of solar, battery energy storage, Microgrids, fuel cells and Electric Vehicles. Our customers include a variety of industry leaders in the power generation and electrification space.
We are looking to expand our sales team to continue to increase our rapid growth. We are seeking aggressive, growth oriented Sales Engineers. This can be an ideal role for recent grads or engineers looking to make the transition into sales and business development
Responsibilities:
- Closing sales for Alencon’s products
- Scheduling and delivering applications-oriented sales presentations to existing and prospective customers on the unique features, benefits and advantages of Alencon’s products
- Attending industry trade shows (COVID-19 conditions permitting)
- Responding to inbound product sales inquiries
- Issuing quotations to customers
- Working on project bids
- Prospecting for new business
- Working on short- and long-term projects with key accounts
- Account management, including following up with customers on issues such as product delivery and coordinating deployment
Qualifications:
- An undergraduate degree in Electrical Engineering or similar technical discipline or a demonstrated knowledge of electrical systems
- A strong interest in getting into technical sales and making a real difference
