Title: Sales Development Representative

Department / Division: Operations

Description

The Sales Development Representative is responsible for sourcing new Property Management Agreements, new Facilities Management Agreements, and new Property Accounting Agreements. This role works to identify and work leads and coordinate with the Operations Manager and General Manager on negotiating and closing new agreements. The Sales Development Representative reports to the General Manager.

Essential Duties

  • Drive new company revenue to help us achieve our growth vision.
  • Support scalable sales programs across a variety of direct clients and agencies.
  • Ensure prospective clients receive the highest level of sales and operational customer service.
  • Liaise with cross-functional teams to structure and execute operational and strategic services and programs.
  • Develop and implement best practices for client interaction, sales, and services.
  • Communicate updates with key internal/external personnel specific to projects.
  • Market company services to build brand awareness and generate interest and leads.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct calls to prospective clients to sell property and facilities management services and accounting services.
  • Identify and generate sales leads.
  • Partner with Operations, Accounting, Brokerage, Leasing as needed.
  • Track status of leads as they are worked, and partner with leadership on viable leads.
  • Conduct sales meetings and have thorough understanding of the services we provide.
  • Provide status updates and track and report KPIs.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Job Qualifications/Experience

  • 1-3 years of proven work experience in marketing and / or sales.
  • Ability to perform well in a highly dynamic, rapidly changing environment.
  • Creative, outside-the-box thinker and strategist.
  • Experience working in a sales or marketing role with small businesses.
  • Proven track record reaching and exceeding sales goals.
  • Passion for sales and marketing and up for the challenge of building something from the bottom up.
  • Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
  • Effective team player through collaboration and partnership.
  • Ability to analyze and problem-solve effectively; able to offer solutions to resolve issues.

Education

Bachelor’s degree (BS/BA) with an emphasis in business, communications, marketing, or related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Language Skills

Ability to read, analyze and interpret general business periodicals, business correspondence, and procedure manuals.

Reasoning Ability

Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form.
