Hot Licks Pier 39 is interviewing candidates for a retail sales associate position with opportunity for advancement. Do you enjoy interacting with people in a busy environment? Is there flexibility in your schedule? Are you a self-starter with current retail experience? Hot Licks is a gourmet hot sauce store that offers a variety of hot sauces, BBQ Sauces, and some of the world's hottest pepper extracts! Join our team of hot sauce aficionados! Prior experience is preferred but not required. Schedule is primarily on the weekend, that may include evenings and/or holidays.
Some of the responsibilities include effective sales techniques, good customer service and maintaining sufficient floor stock. Demonstrating good work habits, encouraging clean and safe work habits and promoting positive attitudes toward customers. Maintains store standards by following company policies. Maintains and stocks inventory, prices products. Minimizes customer complaints through effective customer service.

High School Diploma or Equivalent and 18 years or older. Hot Licks carries extreme heat products and require a waiver on some products.

The location of Hot Licks is on Pier 39; while performing the duties of this job you may occasionally be exposed to outdoor weather conditions. Store has a newer climate-controlled system. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate with background music.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or listen to customers and employees. The employee is frequently required to stand; walk; sit; use hands and reach with hands and arms. The employee is occasionally required to climb or balance and stoop, kneel or bend to restock or access products. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 30 pounds.

Pay: $17.00 - $19.00 per hour
