Description

The Institutional Sales Associate, Sr. is a key role in providing exceptional service and support to institutional sales representatives and customers. The position will require you to develop an expertise on process and procedures to assist with escalated issues and problem resolution. You will work with external/internal partners and act as the liaison between customers, sales, and operations. In this dynamic environment, you may participate on special projects to drive process improvement.

Responsible for day-to-day sales support activities including customer onboarding, trade settlements, processing account transactions, and responding to customer inquiries

• Develop and maintain strong, trusted relationships with customer by providing an excellent customer experience
• Assists customers in meeting their investment objectives by executing and allocating trades, providing quotes and market information.
• Support The Huntington Liquidity Portal platform demos, trade approvals, and settlement process
• Research and resolve trade settlements issues such as DKs and unsettled trades
• Support municipal new issues new issue activity including order entry, validation, and trade settlement
• Maintains knowledge of Huntington's products and the fixed income market
• Maintain desktop procedures and resources

This position is available for Hybrid work.

Basic Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or Equivalent
• 5 or more years of experience within Investments/Financial Services
• Must obtain within 12 months of hire the FINRA SIE, Series 7 and Series 63

Preferred Qualifications:

• At least 1 year of Broker dealer experience
• Detail oriented with strong organizational and communication skills
• Experience with Bloomberg TOMS
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment; adaptive to change
• Provide excellent service by building rapport with customers and internal/external partners

Exempt Status: (Yes = not eligible for overtime pay) (No = eligible for overtime pay)
