Overview:

Our client, a Global Fortune 50 organization and one of the world’s largest distributors of healthcare systems, medical supplies & pharmaceutical products, seeks an accomplished Sales Assistant.

*** Location: 9954 Mayland Drive, Richmond, VA 23233 (hybrid role)

*** Duration: 3 - 4 months contract w/ possibility of extension

Notes:

  • Work hours: 8:00am - 5:00pm ET, Mon – Fri.
  • Hybrid role. Candidate can work either in Richmond VA or Jacksonville FL based on candidate’s base location. Position will mostly be remote but 25% of time might be spent onsite in office when needed.
  • Pay Rate: $23.81/hr on W2.

Description:

  • Responsible for preparing customer usage file for product cross referencing and sales quoting for QxRef (Quoting and Cross Reference) Team analysis.
  • The specialist will ensure consistent and accurate results for all product match deliverables which will be provided to the salesforce and directly to customers.
  • The analyst will engage with core sales support team members and sales professionals as needed.
  • This position will be responsible for preparing quote requests for internal and external customers.
  • Ensure consistent and accurate results for all product match files to the QxRef Team for further analysis.
  • Assist with preparing cross references for Extended Care, Primary Care, Laboratory Solutions and Government.
  • Maintain product match integrity within the internal data tool.
  • Maintain real-time status updates of workflow.
  • Ensures all active documents are documented in the document repository in real-time.
  • Validates and ensures internal and external output is accurate.
  • Maintain day-to-day continued support for internal and external customers.
  • Other projects as assigned by manager.

Qualifications:

  • 1+ years’ experience working in Medical distribution or lab segment.
  • 1+ years' experience in sales support, purchasing, item cross-referencing or customer service.
  • Intermediate proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and Access).
  • Helpful to have PDF conversion experience and exposure to supplier/distributor relationships.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to understand cross referencing requirements and deliver the results.
  • Medical supply chain product knowledge helpful.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks at once and prioritize accordingly.
  • Strong time management skills.
  • Ability to exceed deadline timeframes.
  • Ability to work independently.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Adaptable to constant change.
  • Ability to thrive in fast-paced environment.
