We are looking for our Sales Analyst to take ownership, embrace the challenge to find a way to make things easier, while delivering a consistently great customer experience! As a Sales Analyst, you will be gathering data, analyzing and reporting on various sales channels using sources such as the Salesforce, CDG/MBS, Data Warehouse, etc.

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Analyzes and turns data into useful information to support sales and business development leaders as well as supporting other cross functional and company needs
  • Presents data findings in an understandable and compelling manner, within acceptable timeframes
  • Supports and leads the production of materials and support items for various sales and business development activities and does so in a way that is cheerful, collaborative, and supportive of our culture of collegiality and congeniality
  • Performs statistical analysis for reports and projects
  • Coordinates recurring and one-time presentation materials for Sales and Business Development departments
  • Provides additional assistance as needed
  • Requires strong attention to detail; thorough understanding of tasks to validate conclusions
  • Develops custom reports in order to meet specific functional and system requirements at the direction of the President of Midwest and VP of Corporate Strategy
  • Works directly with Business Units to identify analytical requirements
  • Participates in on-going training for requirements necessary for support of mission critical applications
  • Communicates effectively and clearly with all departments and employees to establish and maintain cooperative working relationships
  • Applies skills and knowledge in data management, document organization and related areas to individual and team efforts being supported by the analyst.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned to ensure effective operation of department
Requirements:

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelors’ Degree, or equivalent experience, in business administration, economics, statistics, finance or a related field
  • At least 3 years of analytical and/or reporting experience, preferably within the telecommunications industry
  • Strong data management and analytical skills are required
  • Strong customer orientation
  • Strong written and verbal skills
  • Strong organizational and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as a collaborative team member on projects of moderate to broad scope
  • Ability to productively leverage querying tools to solve business challenges and problems
  • Proficiency using analytical tools such as Microsoft Excel including pivot tables, PL/SQL
