General Responsibilities:

The Account Manager will work closely with customers Stellantis and General Motors and internal teams to support commercial activity related to suspension/chassis products. Account management responsibilities include acting as a main point of contact for customers, ensuring timely responses to customer inquiries, preparing sales reports and summaries, identifying growth opportunities, and working closely with internal teams to manage commercial activity related to the Suspension products. The ideal candidate should be self-motivated and open to learning chassis product specifications and manufacturing processes so as to communicate confidently with knowledgeable customers.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Interface with OEM engineering, purchasing, and cost analysis teams
  • Coordinate and complete customer quotations
  • Support customer visits to manufacturing sites and sales offices globally
  • Build and maintain strong customer relationships
  • Analyze costs and pricing for customer suspension applications
  • Receive, verify, and manage customer purchase orders
  • Support customer cost breakdown activities
  • Track and update customer contracts
  • Maintain and control project expenses
  • Support commercial aspects of product development and design changes
  • Understand customer’s expectations
  • Understand customer’s organization, program milestones, and key deliverables

Requirements:

  • Having a “Data Miner” mindset qualities
  • Experience working with Stellantis is preferred.
  • Excellent analytical and communication skills
  • Well organized, inquisitive, and independent
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while paying strict attention to detail
  • Proficient in MS Office tools, especially Excel and Powerpoint

Additionally, the ability to work independently with minimal direction is required as are strong verbal and written communication skills.

Education: Bachelor’s degree in engineer or business

Experience: 7-10 years’ experience in sales, engineering, program management, or business development. Automotive chassis experience (brakes, steering, suspension, brakes and etc) preferred.

Job level determined by various factors such as organization size, responsibility, career stage, and capabilities.

Supervisory Responsibilities: N/A

Working conditions:

Physical Demands: Required to sit or stand for long periods of time. The employee may occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.

Travel: Domestic and international travel required.
