Education and Experience Requirements

Associate's Degree in related curriculum required or equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to successfully perform the essential functions of the job. 4 years of airworthiness experience with 14CFR Parts 23, 25, 27, 29, and/or 33. required. Administrative skills specific to documentation requirements of a repair station.

Position Purpose:

Under close supervision, performs preliminary work order review for discrepancies in completeness and accuracy of data. Assists QC Analyst in the general and technical aspects of Quality Control to ensure aircraft airworthiness is maintained in a timely and efficient manner

Job Description

Principle Duties and Responsibilities:

Essential Functions:
  • Prepares documentation with the Office Staff and Inspection team. Reviews all documents and work orders for final review prior to return to service of the aircraft and ensures aircraft returns to service in accordance with current FARs and company policy.

  • Develops and implements documents for QC utilization.

  • Assists customers after departure for questions pertaining to the work scope of the maintenance visit on compliance, research, and documentation.

  • Assists customers with all activities relating to previous and present maintenance performed on aircraft.

Additional Functions:
  • Researches for compliance from past history and problem solves shortages on documentation. .

Perform other duties as assigned.

Other Requirements:
  • Must possess strong analytical ability and good personal computer skills to include working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, database and mainframe interface.

  • Requires accuracy and attention to detail.

  • Basic knowledge of aircraft required.

  • Familiar with Federal Aviation Regulations, Advisory Circulars, and FAA forms and documents, as well as Foreign Country Required Documentation.

  • Knowledge of aircraft logbooks and maintenance entries including proper aircraft work order documentation.

  • Must be proficient in the use of Microsoft Office applications.

  • Strong written and verbal communications skills required.

  • Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand the English language.
