ROLL OFF Driver/Supervisor

Sanico Inc is a locally owned and operated garbage company based out of Phillipsburg NJ. Our service area includes all of Warren County as well as parts of Hunterdon, Morris and Sussex counties. Sanico has an immediate opening for a full-time Roll Off Truck Supervisor/Driver to join our team! You will be responsible for safely operating a truck with a capacity of at least 30,000 pounds Gross Vehicle Weight (GVW) requiring a CDL Class B with Airbrakes..

Pay Rates: $25 to $27.50 per hour plus overtime DOE.

Supervisory Responsibilities
This job has supervisory responsibilities for Drivers assigned to the position. This includes responsibility for employee performance reviews and feedback, scheduling time off, employee grievances or complaints, and job responsibilities.

Job Requirements:

-Organizes and schedules all necessary resources required to accomplish activities

-Plans, distributes, monitors, and follows-up daily route assignments to ensure customers are serviced per company standards and agreements

-Safely operate a Roll Off Truck

-Load and unload Containers to include Dumping at Landfill

-Comply with all company safety rules and other policies

-Perform pre/post-trip safety inspection of assigned vehicle

-Submit work orders for any repairs needed on truck

-Operate hydraulic equipment

-Communicate issues with operations manager

-Fill out route log and other forms daily as required

-CDL drivers must possess Class B w/air brake and must have at least 2 years commercial driving experience

-CDL drivers must possess a valid and current medical certification

-All drivers must have a safe driving history over the last 5 years

-All drivers must be able to pass initial and random drug tests

Physical Requirements:

-Must be able to safely exit and re-enter truck many times per day

-Must be able to sit/drive for prolonged periods to complete route (up to 10 hrs)

-Must be able to load garbage and safely clean in and around the truck and containers; requiring bending, reaching, balancing and lifting up to 50 lbs.

-Previous garbage truck driving experience is not required.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $25.00 - $27.50 per hour

Experience:

• Commercial driving: 2 years (Preferred)

License/Certification:

• Driver's License (Preferred)
• Air Brake Endorsement (Preferred)
• CDL B (Preferred)
