Position: DIRECT HIRE Distribution Center Automation Engineer – Robotics Engineer

Rate of Pay: $85,000 - $115,000/SALARY with a 15% BONUS based.

***Relocation Package Available ***

Type: DIRECT HIRE POSITION with client

Location: Mooresville, IN 46158

General nature of position:

The Distribution Center Automation Engineer works collaboratively with the operations team and robotic vendors as well as independently.

• Will be responsible for applying analytical concepts and methods to the robotic and automation system, to determine practical solutions and efficiencies.
• Serves as the local technical lead, and conducts testing and analysis.
• Will also support with deploying, installation, and maintenance of robots and their framework.
• Works with robotic vendors, manages the local automation system and processes.
• Performs calculations to optimize the robotic system, analyze data and improve the robotic processes and operation functionality and efficiencies.

Work Experience:

• 5 or more years of experience in industrial robotics, or automation industry.
• Working knowledge of PLC controls and programming.
• Ability to work with internal customers and external vendors professionally.
• Project Management and or Capital Engineering

Skills/Competencies:

• High level of proficiency in Microsoft Office App; Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Outlook
• Demonstrated ability to expedite several projects simultaneously.
• Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists.
• Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram or schedule form.
• Experience working effectively in complex global organizations, satisfying the needs of diverse constituents, and often working under the pressure of competing and sometimes conflicting priorities.
• Strong operations knowledge of DC and related processes preferred. Work measurements, time studies, data collection experience for the development of engineered labor standards.
• PC experienced in a professional setting developing and using standard applications (e.g., AutoCAD)
• Knowledge of Warehouse Management Systems and Warehouse Control Systems is required, knowledge of High jump is a plus.
• Must be able to lift 50 pounds.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $85,000.00 - $115,000.00 per year
