Job Summary:
Provides assistance to surgeons as needed during the surgical procedures. Assumes role of first assistant on surgeries that require an assistant. Provides intra-operative retraction, hemastosis, and proper suturing to promote wound alignment and tissue healing without complications. Is able to perform the duties of a circulator and scrub when the need arises. Maintains clinical competence.

Mandatory Requirements:

  • Has knowledge and skills necessary to provide care appropriate to the age of the patients served in the OR. Has knowledge of growth and development over the life span. Speaks, reads and writes English.
  • Minimum of three (3) years� experience in an acute care operating room or an outpatient operating room preferred
  • RNFA qualifications
  • Current CA RN licensure
  • American Heart Association BLS/CPR required
  • CNOR required

Pay Range: $51.18 - $81.91
Individual wages are determined based upon a number of factors including, but not limited to, an employee’s qualifications and experience.
