Supervises clinical and non-clinical team members and works under the supervision of the Riverside Health System (RHS) System Director of Employee Occupational Health.
What you will do
- Responsible for the daily management of the Riverside Regional Medical Center (RRMC) Peninsula Clinic to include budget management, staffing, hiring, disciplinary needs of staff, and daily operations. Adhering to the clinical practice within DNV guidelines. Ensuring staff are providing correct clinical processes that are within scope of their license. Identifies work related illness and injury trends – reports out to appropriate committees and agencies as required. Recommends corrective actions based on trends. Implements corrective actions.
Provides employee health screenings and services in the region served so that the employees’ health status is effectively monitored and maintained. Develops processes to ensure that employee health is brought onsite to those in non-acute facilities on a regular basis. Provides and oversees team members who provide annual screenings for all employees in Peninsula region to include TB Screening and Fit Testing/PAPRS fittings as required. Plans and prepares for high compliance with Flu clinics for region served. Provides reports to leaders on compliance. Attends all regional Safety meetings, prepares regional reports and maintains all systems reporting OSHA compliance and DNV requests.
Works with the worker’s comp TPA. Serves as Liaison representing workers comp Claims. Acts upon recommendations and provides guidance to leaders regarding best practices in preventing and managing injuries/exposures and claims. Facilitates/oversees the return to work process for team members ensuring HR Business Partners/ Leave Management and Leaders are involved appropriate communication as applicable. Works with Leave Management to incorporate as needed ADA return to work clinical review. Manages high dollar or high profile cases as requested by Director. Oversees clinical staff management of workers compensation claims including bill payment, return to work guidelines and plans of action.
Qualifications
Education
- Bachelors Degree, Nursing (Required)
Experience
- 2 years Clinical management experience which includes overseeing clinical staff and/or employee occupational health programs (Preferred)
Licenses and Certifications
- Registered Nurse (RN) - Virginia Department of Health Professions (VDHP) (Required)
CPR/BLS Certification - American Heart Association/American Red Cross/American Safety and Health Institute (AHA/ARC) (Required)
