As a MDS Coordinator (RN-Registered Nurse or LPN - Licensed Practical Nurse), you will:

  • Provide leadership to interdisciplinary team for management of the MDS, Clinical

Reimbursement, Care Plan, and Utilization Management processes in accordance withcurrent federal, state, and local requirements and regulations and company policies andprocedures

  • Ensure that the MDS/RAI deadlines and accuracy requirements are met while ensuring

that coding most appropriately captures each patient’s acuity and needs for accurate andoptimal reimbursement

  • Assist Center leadership with Quality Improvement efforts, staff education, and

regulatory compliance as it relates to the RAI process, Quality Care, Reimbursement,Quality Measures, and Quality Reporting requirements. Qualifications for a MDS Coordinator (RN-Registered Nurse or LPN - Licensed Practical Nurse):

  • Current RN or LPN license in good standing with the Virginia Department of Health Professions
  • Current CPR Certification
  • RAC-CT certification within one year of employment if not certified at the time of hire

  • Significant MDS 3.0 experience (strongly preferred)
