We are currently seeking a full-time RN Grievance Nurse to join our team at James T. Vaughn Correctional Center located in Smyrna, Delaware.
The
Grievance Nurse is responsible for coordinating, managing, and adjudicating the functions of the Inmate Grievance Program. Responsibilities include insuring that the Inmate Grievance Program operates within the established policies and procedures, responding to inmate grievances about any written or unwritten policy, regulation, or procedure, and conducting problem investigation and resolution in an orderly, fair, simple and expeditious method of resolving grievances. This position may also include RN staff responsibilities and other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:

Delaware RN license or ability to obtain license
- Previous experience in grievance procedure preferred
- Corrections experience preferred but not required
- Current CPR
- Ability to obtain a security clearance, to include drug screen and criminal background check
This is a Monday-Friday daylight position. Weekend and holiday coverage may be assigned based on operational needs of the facility.
