Jennings McCall Center is hiring a full-time Resident Care Manager, RN to provide our assisted living residents with daily care and we would like to hear from you! RN license required. Previous experience working in long-term care a plus. This is an exempt Monday - Friday position, with on-call requirements.

Job responsibilities included, but our not limited to:

• Supervises, plans, coordinates and directs the work of the Medication Aides.
• Assist with staffing decisions including training, performance evaluation input, safety awareness/training and retention of assigned personnel.
• Mentor and support the Medication Aides in the delivery of medications to residents.
• To sufficiently provide consultation on Residents’ medical needs
• To adequately respond to emergencies as needed
• To perform initial evaluations of Residents as needed.
• Perform periodic monitoring of Resident’s health and wellness in coordination with assessments
• To delegate special tasks of nursing to medication aides when appropriate with follow-up & evaluation
• Coordination of provision of health services with outside providers, i.e. hospice, physician, home health agencies, physical/occupational therapy, mental health/discharge planner
• Oversee and review medication & medication management system, including: upon move-in, med errors, drug regimens, med changes and orders
• Review and update doctor orders (180 days)
• Assist as needed with Residents’ service plans
• Oversee all record keeping for the department requirements in conjunctions with SPC’S, Administrator, and Health Services staff
• Assist as requested with in-service trainings for the department employees.
• Acts as a liaison between the Residents and the Administrator.
