RFP Management Lead/Project Manager (REMOTE)

Note: While this position is mostly remote, candidates will be required to report on site in Richmond, VA on occasion to attend on site meetings. As such, the client requires candidates to be within a 3 hour drive from Richmond, VA.

Job Description:

• The client’s Practice Management System Replacement Project is an initial step in fulfilling a key result within the client’s strategic plan, which aims to improve financials and operations for all facilities through the enhancement of critical processes which will enable reimbursements to increase across facilities.
• This position will be the project manager for the Practice Management System Replacement project, assisting in the procurement process with RFP development, performing necessary VITA procurement activities, preparing for evaluating proposals, and mitigating the risk of procurement activities slipping schedule during RFP and implementation steps.
• The candidate will coordinate extensively with the client and partner stakeholders to gather requirements, analyze business needs, and collect and analyze data.
• The candidate will be responsible for following the VITA and state requirements for soliciting RFPs.

Required Skills/Experience:

• Senior level PM experience Required 10 Years
• Experience with the Request for Proposal (RFP) Process Required 10 Years
• Active PMP Certification Required
• VITA PMD Certification REQUIRED to be considered. Required
