Job Description Summary

To support the goals and objectives of the Department of Revenue Systems toward management of the hospital’s revenue cycle. Specifically this role will involve performing charge master maintenance, providing project support for departmental charge reviews, monitoring use of deactivated charge codes, working daily reports, ensuring timely and accurate revenue posting, resolving issues and reconciliations of charge postings at a detail level, reporting, assisting in facilitating the revenue cycle through maintenance of charging tools with consideration of third party payer requirements, collaborating with all personnel involved in the service/documentation/charge/claim/reimbursement cycle to maximize revenue, and supporting any other facets of the revenue cycle where opportunities for improvement are identified.
