The Revenue Management team, within the Corporate Strategy group, creates insights that influence the future path of the organization. You will work on a vast data ecosystem that drives Convene's revenue recognition, commercial strategy, financials, and product roadmap. You will have a direct impact on the future of Convene's global business and product decisions!

As a Revenue Manager within Corporate Strategy, you will be a primary contact point for business teams for business intelligence and reporting requests. You will be involved in the strategic planning, forecasting, pricing, and revenue optimization insights. We leverage the AWS Cloud Platform and technologies such as Snowflake, Fivetran, Airflow, and Salesforce. You will work with the commercial, finance, analytics, and product community to create various insights around financial performance analysis, key metrics creation and revenue forecasting.

What You'll Do:

As Convene continues to expand rapidly into new business streams and expand its footprint, we are searching for an individual who will elevate our Revenue Management practice with the addition of tools, reports, and data-driven strategies. As a Revenue Manager you will be responsible for envisioning, creating, executing and rolling out new reports and tools for our organization - both in the field at the property level, and senior leadership at the corporate level - to optimize overall revenue while promoting the company's strategic priorities, culture, mission, and values.

  • Work closely with the commercial team, Revenue Management, and Pricing to identify inventory trends and develop quantitative analysis, ad-hoc reports, and models that will inform pricing decisions
  • Monitor inventory forecasts and room rates in order to maximize yield and offer suggestions for inventory packaging
  • Use strong project management skills to work with other stakeholders in the organization to enhance and automate current revenue reporting
  • Identify opportunities and implement solutions that help provide efficiency within the Revenue Management
  • Maintain a timeline and roadmap of the projects assigned to ensure on-time delivery
  • Become an expert in Convene pricing, processes, and systems including Salesforce, Snowflake, and Tableau

  • Advanced Excel skills, ability to understand systems intuitively
  • Knowledge of Tableau and SQL is a plus
  • Ability to conceptualize data, reports, and an aptitude for spotting trends and patterns
  • Ability to thrive with ambiguity and work in a fast-paced environment

Compensation:

Base Salary:

Salary Min: $105,000 Salary Max: $115,000

This role is also eligible for Convene's annual incentive performance bonus plan.

This information reflects the anticipated base salary range for this position based on current national data. Minimums and maximums may vary based on location. Individual pay is based on skills, experience and other relevant factors.
