The Returnship Program offers a six-month opportunity for experienced (mid-level) professional workers seeking to re-enter the workforce after taking a leave from their professional career.

Seeking a Project Coordinator to join our Corporate Real Estate team. In this role, you will assist the Workplace Design team in their coordination of contractors, vendors, and internal T-Mobile teams and processes, as they execute Tenant Improvement projects throughout T-Mobile’s non-retail portfolio, across North America.

Job Description:

The Project Coordinator (PC) will be responsible for maintaining constant oversight and assistance of project routines and processes, including meeting scheduling and minutes, and other important tasks necessary to delivery world-class real estate solutions to a Fortune 40 company. Additionally, the PC is expected to be a self-starter who is proficient at supporting multiple PM’s and teams across the enterprise, while also being capable of mentoring Project Coordinators.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Works to earn customer and team trust as a valued business partner.

  • Oversees and processes documentation for project commitments (i.e., Agreements, Contracts, Work Authorizations, Purchase Orders); Manages the collection of Tenant Improvement Allowance funds, as applicable.

  • Processes invoices and pay applications; assists PM team with monthly reclasses and accruals.

  • Enters project information and data into project management technology tools (software applications, web-based tools, job cost accounting tools).

  • Maintains collaborative relationships with Clients, A&E Professionals, Contractors / GC’s, Vendors, Landlords, and internal CRE Teams.

  • Trains new project support team on project policies, administration, and governance.

  • Maintains project files and directories.

  • Adept at reading and understanding real estate leases, exhibits, and work letters, especially as they relate to managing the Tenant Improvement Allowance process, as applicable.

  • Other duties may be assigned.

Returnship Program Requirements: (Must meet ONE from this list to be eligible)

  • Minimum 2 year career break

  • Veterans transitioning into a civilian role for the first time

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree (BA or BS) from a four-year college or university, or equivalent training, education, and experience in a related field (Interior Design, Project Management, or a related field to the Construction Industry).

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in a project or program management.

  • Experience working with teams of employees with multiple cross-functional competencies.

  • Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint. Microsoft Project preferred but not required.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills; ability to effectively communicate with all employee levels and levels of management.

  • Understanding of general accounting/costing practices including budgeting, forecasting, purchase orders, and invoicing.

  • Highly organized with strong analytical skills and the ability to identify and manage priorities.

  • Basic understanding of design and construction processes and familiarity with financial milestones related to construction projects.

  • Strong interpersonal skills for building trusted relationships.

  • Strong negotiation skills with ability to maintain composure under pressure.

  • Experience working in a corporate real estate environment is preferred but not required.

This role is not eligible for relocation. Returner must have reliable transportation to work in office.

  • This positions wages vary from $25.83/hour to $42.44/hour. The successful candidate’s actual pay will be based on experience/location.
