Job description

The Retail Sales Associate will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service to clients and driving sales. The successful candidate will be knowledgeable about the products and services offered by the company, develop and maintain relationships with customers, and contribute to achieving sales targets.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Welcome customers and identify their needs by providing exceptional customer service.

2. Ensure that clients are aware of the company's products and services by demonstrating the product and its benefits and provide information about alternative products when necessary.

3. Handle customer inquiries and complaints, manage customer feedback and provide a suitable response.

4. Conduct product demonstrations and assist customers in choosing the best products based on their needs and budget.

5. Process sales transactions accurately and efficiently, ensuring customer satisfaction.

6. Meet and exceed set sales targets by closing deals.

7. Maintain a competitive and up-to-date knowledge of the company's products and services, along with industry trends and new products that could enhance the current business.

8. Actively participate in stock replenishment and maintain a clean and organized work environment.

9. Collaborate with other team members and make recommendations to improve customer satisfaction, sales and team operations.

10. Participate in marketing and promotional campaigns to attract potential customers to the business.

Qualifications:

1. Minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent qualification required.

2. Exceptional customer service and problem-solving skills.

3. Proven sales experience, preferably in retail sales.

4. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.

5. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.

6. Experience operating POS systems is an added advantage.

7. Must be willing to work flexible hours, including weekends and public holidays.

Pay: $600.00 - $800.00 per week
