Recreation at Moxy NYC Downtown in Fidi is looking for a dedicated and passionate Food and Beverage Manager to join and lead our team.

They will promote and grow the business, hire and train waitstaff, and ensure that patrons are receiving excellent drinks, food, and service. You will also manage inventory and resources, plan promotional events, ensure that quality and safety controls are followed, maintain current licenses and update vendor contracts, create schedules, and set business objectives to increase profits and maximize customer satisfaction. You should also be able to work with diverse personalities and diffuse tense situations. Our goal is to have a fun working environment while delivering excellent service and experience to our customers.

The ideal manager is hard-working, passionate about hospitality, and dedicated to the guest and team experience:

• 2-5 years of f&b management experience- within a hotel a plus
• The ability to create superior guest experiences.
• Willingness to work during peak hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Effectively delegate responsibilities and maximize resources.
• A team player approach to leadership.
• Positive attitude and strong work ethic with the mentality of a team player.
• The ability to comfortably lead a team in a busy atmosphere.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Skilled with OpenTable and Micros/Aloha a plus.

Pay: $60,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year
