The Assistant Restaurant Manager, under the direct supervision of the General Manager, will assist with the daily operations of two high volume Restaurants, including, hiring, staffing, scheduling, training and the overall service level of the restaurant and bar. The incumbent will work closely with Kitchen staff to oversee the timing of entrees and presentation of product, as well as coordinating and maintaining the overall cleanliness of the restaurant, bar and kitchen areas. Responsible for handling guest inquiries and complaints. Requires the ability to multi-task and work well under pressure. Also responsible for conducting daily pre-shift meetings with staff. Must be able to read, speak and write effectively. Candidates should possess general working knowledge of Health Department regulations and the ability to delegate duties and maintain compliance. Qualified candidates will have a minimum of two years of experience in a supervisory role in Food & Beverage, preferably in the Casino industry. Previous Fine Dining experience is a plus.

Principle Responsibilities and Duties

  • Have Restaurant manager knowledge
  • Must be familiar with managing a large quantity of employees
  • Knowledge of Financial Budgets
  • Knowledge of P &L’s
  • Maintaining Food and Beverage cost
  • Maintain Labor budgets
  • Be able to handle guest relation situations
  • Maintain a high quality of guest service according to Silverton Values.
  • Check for proper identification of a guest appearing to be under the age of 35 years old.
  • Thorough knowledge of applicable Company and departmental policies and procedures as well as the willingness to learn and follow any policy or procedure that may be introduced in the future.
  • Adhere to all appearance and uniform standards.
  • Maintain an open line of communication with Managers.
  • Maintain a positive and professional demeanor during all interactions with guest, fellow Team Members, and Vendors.
  • Ability to accept performance feedback in a professional manner.
  • Regular attendance to all scheduled shifts is considered an essential function of the job.
  • Arriving on time for all scheduled shifts is considered an essential function of the job.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Skills, Education & Other Requirements

  • Must be a minimum of 21 years of age
  • Having completed a bartending school and a completion certificate is not required, but highly suggested
  • Ability to communicate in English with guests and co-workers
  • Employees must meet viral communication standards in promoting and marketing our venue
  • Requires strong knowledge of spirits, wine, champagne, and mixed cocktails
  • The ability to work within a team environment
