SPA has a requirement for a Responsible Artificial Intelligence (RAI) Contract Support to support the Data and AI Review Board located at HQ SACT, Norfolk,VA.
Responsibilities:
  • Propose and help establish a process for the development of NATO’s RAICS;
  • Participate in DARB’s Subgroup meetings, virtually or in person, as appropriate;
  • Help advance the DARB’s Subgroup work by contributing knowledge and expertise in areas related to responsible AI standards, certification, and assessment processes;
  • Support ACT and IS-ESC/DAIP with preparing inputs for the Subgroup’s meetings;
  • Contribute to the creation of interim and final deliverables, including but not limited to the RAICS;
  • Help engage with external stakeholders – in particular industry and civil society;
  • Update ACT and IS-ESC/DAIP regularly on the progress of their work.
Qualifications:
Essential Skills/Qualifications:
  • University degree or similar national academic qualification is required in areas including Data Science, Information Technology, Political Science, or Law
  • Ability to understand the legal, ethical, organizational, and technological implications and externalities of Artificial Intelligence and translate them into actions and policies
  • Ability to work independently, proactively, and resourcefully on several tasks at one time with minimum supervision
  • Ability to facilitate meetings at working level and at executive level
  • Ability to communicate effectively at senior (executive) level – including excellent presentation skills
  • Working knowledge of word processing, spreadsheet, and presentations software
  • Foreign Language proficiency, particularly French is desirable
  • Fluent in English (written and oral)
  • Ability to work outside of normal working hours
  • Active National or NATO Secret (or higher) security clearance
