By joining our Division of Motor Carriers, Qualifications/Permits Branch as a Resource Management Analyst II I in Franklin County, you’ll have the opportunity to take advantage of classroom and in-field trainings to allow for continued education to become specialized in road and construction maintenance and operations.

Holders of the Resource Management Analyst II position will complete tasks such as:
  • Maintain and verify system data is accurate and consistent across all platforms used by DMC. Use SQL data searches to research and resolve issues.
  • Work with vendors and staff members on web-based products for deployments, enhancements, and maintenance.
  • Create and delete users across all the Division of Motor Carrier web applications.
  • Troubleshoot computer issues for staff and customers. Install hardware and software for staff computers as needed
Holders of this job title will obtain:
  • Ability to read and use Microsoft Standard Query Language (SQL).
  • Create and maintain user roles and data in all the Division of Motor Carrier websites.
  • Troubleshoot issues within the Division of Motor Carrier websites and the ability to create tickets in the Ivanti Ticketing system.
  • Research information across multiple federal and state maintained websites.

Minimum Requirements
EDUCATION: Graduate of a college or university with a bachelor's degree.

EXPERIENCE, TRAINING, OR SKILLS: Two years of systems analysis, business administration, or public administration experience.

Substitute EDUCATION for EXPERIENCE: Related technical or vocational training will substitute for the bachelor's degree requirement on a year for year basis. A master's degree in computer science, business or public administration will substitute for one year of the experience requirement.

Substitute EXPERIENCE for EDUCATION: Experience in computer programming, systems analysis, information services, research and statistics, business administration, or public administration will substitute for the bachelor's degree requirement on a year-for-year basis.

Probationary Period
This job has an initial and promotional probationary period of 6 months, except as provided in KRS 18A.111.
