Residential Clinical Supervisor
– Posting #23-004

MAJOR DUTIES:
Provides program oversight and clinical supervision for staff under the guidance of the Women’s Recovery Center Program Director. The Clinical Supervisor works closely with the Program Director. The Supervisor works in a supportive role with counselors. In fulfilling these duties, the incumbent performs the following duties:
  • Maintains current understanding of Washington Administrative Codes (WACs) and Revised Codes of Washington (RCWs) and federal regulations pertaining to substance use dependency treatment and early childhood education.
  • Ensures that continuous quality improvement addresses both patient needs and compliance with WACs, RCWs, and federal regulations.
  • Ensures treatment programs are in compliance with Department of Health certification reviews.
  • Ensure compliance with all applicable Lifeline Connections policies and contracts.
  • Orient and train new staff to their assigned duties.
  • Schedule and facilitate supervision sessions.
  • Review clinical charts for accuracy and completeness, noting WAC requirements.
  • Coordinate and collaborate with Program Director on the progress of the training, professional development, and ability to deliver services as assigned.
  • Assist the counselors with organizing all needs and supplies regarding the delivery of services.
  • Monitor all ethical and safety concerns and report them immediately.
  • Develop and maintain updated and continuous Professional Development Plans with the counselors
  • Maintain full and open communication with Program Director in promoting communication and information between the SUDPT, other clinical staff members, and other agency staff in delivery of services.
  • Participate in 50% direct service.
  • Duties as assigned by the Program Director.

KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS REQUIRED BY THE POSITION
  • Bachelor’s degree in psychology or related field preferred.
  • Minimum requirement, possess an associate degree or its equivalent.
  • Experience and training in the delivery of services to substance use affected individuals and their families.
  • Demonstrate experience providing supervision and/or mentoring to subordinate staff or co-workers.
  • Demonstrate experience providing a safe and supportive environment for individuals early in recovery from alcohol and other drugs.
  • A minimum of one (1) year experience working in a substance use dependency residential setting required.
  • Provide the agency with proof of authority to supervise trainees to credential and/or licensure.
  • Good verbal and written communication skills.
  • Great attendance.
  • Ability to work well with others.
  • Be able to show proof of or complete a minimum of 15 hours of supervision training.
  • Leadership skills.

Salary:
$56,904 - $59,160/year DOE + $1,000 sign-on bonus!
