The Resident Care Manager (RCM) / Director of Nursing (DON) will manage administration and operation of personal care facility. We are seeking a personable, enthusiastic, and dynamic Licensed Nurse (RN) to uphold the quality of resident care in one of our beautiful Personal Care Homes.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Plans, develops, organizes, and coordinates all aspects of the Nursing department
- Ensure compliance with current applicable federal, state, and local standards, guidelines, regulations, and internal policies and procedures
- Responsibility and oversight of the quality of resident care
- Manages and addresses personnel issues promptly and appropriately, working with the Human Resources Department and the Executive Director
- Acts as the Executive Director in his/her absence
- Manage and recruit staffing and ensure staffing needs are met
- Lead and participate in monthly nursing meetings
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Must have an active Nursing License
- Minimum of two (2) years of management experience, workings as a Resident Care Manager, Director of Nursing, or Nurse Manager
- Minimum of two (2) years of experience in a Personal Care setting, preferred but not required
- Knowledge of memory care is a plus
