Resident Advisor | Full & Part Time | All Shifts Available | Multiple Locations

As a Resident Advisor, you will perform duties to maintain a safe and secure setting for clients and staff within a residential program setting. Ensures client needs are met and program protocols are followed at all times. This is a halfway/transitional house - you would be monitoring resident's phones for inappropriate content, dispense meds, sign in/out for outdoor movement, perform UAs, head counts, and some data entry.

We are looking for multiple people for this position at several locations around Cincinnati. Please read the 'Schedule' section carefully.

Responsibilities:

• Monitor activities to ensure program guidelines are followed and appropriate client care is provided
• Make periodic rounds of buildings/grounds to ensure safety, security and optimal facility operations
• Assist clients and peers in making appropriate decisions
• Deliver on-going oversight of client activity
• Complete accurate and timely documentation utilizing designated software
• Respond to emergencies or incidents through conflict resolution and crisis management techniques
• Perform routine non-clinical intake duties as required
• Recognize behavior changes and monitor client movement
• Operate vehicle to transport clients as required

Requirements:

• High School Graduate or high school equivalency
• Effective verbal and written communication skills
• Computer skills and basic data management for record-keeping purposes
• Driving if required by program
• Open to background and drug screening
