Job description
The Arriaga lab is looking for a responsible and motivated individual, who is looking to gain research experience in cancer biology, prostate cancer, metastasis, mouse models and molecular biology.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Under the direction of the Principal Investigator (PI), assists with simple to moderately complex experiments using standard techniques in molecular and cell biology.
- Maintains inventory and orders research reagents and supplies
- Performs routine maintenance of equipment and laboratory
- Prepares specimens and/or chemical solutions
- Performs routine tasks of mouse husbandry, manipulation and genotyping of mouse models.
- Performs other related duties.
