Performs all routine skilled and unskilled tasks necessary to make rooms ready for occupancy including full renovation. This includes, but is not limited to: electrical wiring, plumbing, wall preparation including taping and patching as well as all general carpentry work.
Job Qualifications:
- Education/Training/Experience
- High school diploma or equivalent
- A minimum of 5 years experience with general contractor skills are required including plumbing, electrical, lighting, painting and skilled taping.
- Trade-school training is a plus but not required.
- Must have experience in remolding homes or apartments from tear out to move in ready.
- Must have experience in dealing with the public.
- Licensing/Registration/Certification
- Driver’s license as well as a Class E Driver’s license.
- Skills and Abilities
- Must be able to read, write and perform basic arithmetic.
- Computer skills including spreadsheets and word processing.
- Ability to follow directions as well as problem solve independently on the job.
- Most possess a sense of pride and have initiative.
- Self motivated.
- Must speak English.
- Must process leadership skills.
- Must be able to multitask and prioritize.
